Summary of Geometric Langlands at Lorentz Center, Leiden

Today I arrived at the Lorentz Center, Leiden, the Netherlands. This is a workshop entitled as The Geometric Langlands Program, which has the emphasis more on arithmetic geometry or geometry of conformal field theories, if compared to Miniprogram for Gauge Theory and Langlands Duality at KITP.

During the visit, I could have informal talks with several acquiaintances from both the east and the west. I could especially make some discusssions with "ancestors" of the (quantum) geometric Langlands program of D-modules.

The weather was not stable in the sense that we have both sunshines and showers within each day. At the Oort Building, we have a coffee machine (at right) of common room.
I wish we would have a good occasion in the near future, where we can come together somewhere else and appreciate our community.
Take care.
